I’m new to the turkey hunting scene and having only upland shotguns, what is a good type of shotgun for tukeys? I know everyone will say something different, but I have no idea really. What should I look for, and what should I avoid?

The Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation is a private, non-profit organization that defines itself to serve for the benefit of the well being of those men and women who serve the country as defenders of the nation. Also known as MWR in short, it is an organization that functions on a large network that moves as one to support and give leisure and comfort that would help give better lives to soldiers, military retirees, civilian employees and their families.

The concept of MWR started way back before the institution’s inception right in the battlefields of World War I, where sisters of the Salvation Army and volunteers for Red Cross tended to the needs of soldiers, serving as their primary source of morale, welfare and recreation. Everything virtually went to a halt, however, when the war ceased and the programs shelved until 1940, when the Adjutant General’s Office established the Morale Division, now known as Special Services.

From there, active duty military and civilians composed the core recreation programs that were established in between 1946 and 1955. Active duty enlisted soldiers and officers were assigned at various levels of command within the Special Service’s military occupational specialties, which went on until the mid 1980s. While certain occupational specialties could no longer go on, civilians continued what has now become an operational MWR program. And after a series of reorganizations and renaming of the program, it finally ended up being called as the morale, welfare and recreation program.

Today, MWR continues to offer services that help reduce stress as well as improve skills and foster self-confidence within one’s self and camaraderie among fellow soldiers, and thus catering to their morale, welfare and recreation which in turn contributes to the much needed retention of valuable and talented people in the Army by reminding them that there are people who care are willing to support them all throughout their service in defending the country.

With the mission of serving the needs interests and responsibilities of every member of the Army community no matter where they are, so long as they continue to serve the Army, MWR upholds its ideology that the same, if not a better, quality of life should be awarded to soldiers who promised to defend their country.

After all, it takes more than stringent training and dedication in order to produce an army that is ready and able. Soldiers need to play to balance out their work too, you know.

I will be hunting in deep East Texas and a ranch in South Texas that borders Mexico.

I know the landscapes and trees are different from my visits to each, but am curious to see what camouflage patterns are best for these areas? Is there one that would work well for both since I will not be hunting either on a regular basis?

Please include links with your answers so I can see what the pattern looks like.

Hi yall. I’ve never really gone fishing before, only with my grandfather when I was young. And then this weird place in Japan where they basically threw hundreds of fish into small ponds and you paid them to fish. It was very relaxing, although hardly counts as fishing. Now I just want to get the same experience again. Can anyone help me get started? Freshwater/Saltwater.. I don’t care, I just want to catch a few fish and relax near the water. Also can I rent equipment and all that and how much does that cost? Thanks!

Having been best with of the purest snow in the Untied States, Utah skiing is extremely popular among locals and tourists alike.  In great part because of the pure snowfall, many avid skiers regard Utah has having the best skiing terrain available in America.  The following paragraphs will discuss Utah skiing, as well as discuss some of the most popular resorts.

Not only does Utah have what many regard the best ski conditions in America, it is also home to the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association headquarters office.  Utah has also been the proud host of the Olympic Winter Games in the year 2002.  The state also holds great pride in being the home of thirteen world-class Utah skiing resorts that offer fresh snow, as well as dry powder snow on their slopes.  The thirteen world-class resorts include:

- Alta Ski Resort

- Brian Head Resort

- Deer Valley Resort

- Park City Mountain Resort

- Snowbasin Ski Resort

- Solitude Resort

- Canyons Resort

- Beaver Mountain Ski Resort

- Brighton Resort

- Wolf Mountain Resort

- Powder Mountain Resort

- Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort

- Robert Redford’s Sundance Resort

The following paragraphs will briefly discuss, in random order, these thirteen resorts.  Keep in mind, if you are planning a Utah skiing vacation during peak season, be sure to make early reservations to ensure lodging.  During peak season, especially around Christmas time, all lodging is usually booked tight.

The thirteen world calls ski resorts in Utah include the Altra Ski resort.  This is not only a local favorite, it offers a thrilling ski experience.  The Brain Head Resort is another Utah skiing resort that is popular among locals, as well as tourists.  It is one of the full service resorts, and offers the highest elevation levels of all.  In addition, the Deer Valley resort is also a great choice for a Utah skiing trip, as it is ranked as the second best resort in North America!

These great Utah skiing resorts can be found scattered all about the state, as well as great variety of convenient lodging and accommodations.  Restaurants vary from fast food restaurants to accommodate the kids, to restaurants that can accommodate a romantic dinner for two.  Once you are done with the slopes, there is plenty of entertainment.  If you plan your Utah skiing vacation accordingly, you can even plan to participate in the Sundance Film Festival.  Remember to make your reservations early, as lodging can be scarce during this time.

If you are planning a Utah skiing vacation, you should really consider visiting some of these resorts.  Even Salt Lake City has resorts and accommodations to make any vacation a pleasure.
